培训结构和定价等级:5至18岁 | 学习( 5- 11) 成长( 12-18) 组

Welcome to the Project Protea development tracks, designed for young athletes aged 5 to 18 to discover, build, and master their running fundamentals. Whether your child is stepping onto the track for the very first time in our Learn (5–11) group or refining advanced speed and biomechanics in our Grow (12–18) group, our structured pathways ensure tailored support at every stage.

Training Structure & Schedule

Our program operates year-round on a 12-week rotation, split into 4 terms per year.

  • Weekly Commitment: 1.5 hours of training per week.
  • Consistent Billing: The monthly rate remains fixed regardless of whether a month contains 4 or 5 weeks.
  • Competitions: When a competition takes place, it replaces that week’s regular class. Regular classes will only run during competition weeks if the coach specifies that additional training is required.
  • Enrollment: Participants can join at the beginning of any month, and tailored training will be arranged. However, to experience the complete curriculum, we recommend joining at the start of a 12-week term.
  • Regular Student Benefits & Sponsorship: Students who commit to two consecutive terms (6 months) are recognized as Regular Students. They will receive an initial medical-grade assessment at the start to establish a baseline, followed by re-assessments every two terms to track their physical development. This initiative is supported by our sponsor.
  • Transform Group: Our dedicated development track for individuals older than 18 years old, focusing on turning experienced runners into future Community Coaches. This is a specialized career and leadership pathway separate from our youth tracks. Read more about our Transform Group program and coaching requirements.

Coaching Hierarchy & Support Levels

To ensure maximum safety, personalized attention, and optimal athletic development, our venues operate under a structured, multi-tiered coaching framework:

Supporting Members: Provide dedicated, hands-on assistance within our specialized support groups (maintaining a 1:6 ratio for low support or a 1:3 ratio with caretaker integration for high support) to ensure continuous physical adjustments, individualized pacing, and safety.

Community Coaches: Directly leads and instructs a dedicated team of 6 to 12 students, delivering the core running curriculum and managing group dynamics.

Lead Coach (1 per Venue): Oversees the entire dedicated training site, manages day-to-day session quality, and monitors the overall progression of all students on-site.

Program Director: Oversees all Lead Coaches across all training locations. The Program Director conducts rotating quality checks, floating between different venues at various times to ensure curriculum standardization, safety compliance, and training quality.

Specialized Support Ratios

Depending on an athlete’s individual developmental or physical needs, our groups are reinforced with additional support staff to maintain optimal safety and engagement:

Support LevelRatioTarget Focus
Low Support Group1 Support Staff per 6 StudentsFocused on standard technical guidance, group dynamics, and general execution within the team.
High Support Group1 Support Staff per 3 Students
(Caretaker participation is required)
Tailored for learners requiring high specialized attention, continuous physical adjustments, or individualized pacing.

The Direct-to-Coach Financial Model

Project Protea is designed to be a self-sustained ecosystem. Our goal is to ensure coaches trained within our system can operate independently, simulating a real-world service environment where clients pay professionals directly.

Where your fees go: 100% of your tuition goes directly to the personnel delivering the sessions. This may include, but is not limited to, our session-specific support members: Community Coaches and/or behavior specialists, Lead Coaches, and the Program Director.

Organizational administration fees are not factored into your tuition, unlike traditional setups. Your payment strictly covers the professional services rendered on the field, maximizing efficiency and directly supporting the coaching staff.
