Our programs
At Project Protea, we bridge the gap between clinical neurorehabilitation science and affordable, community-driven athletic development. Our programs are intentionally structured to provide early, high-quality physical conditioning that transforms a child’s readiness to learn, grow, and lead.
1. The Protea Pathway
Our Core Development Blueprint
The Protea Pathway is the overarching methodology that every athlete journeys through. Rather than general recreation, this core program uses highly structured, task-oriented motor conditioning to build physical architecture from the ground up at the optimal developmental age.
Learn (Spine & Core): We isolate and strengthen the trunk, spine, and core. This builds the fundamental physical alignment and stamina required for a child to sit well, maintain posture, and reduce physical fatigue at a school desk—unlocking their latent capacity to focus.
Grow (Kinesthetic Focus): We translate foundational strength into athletic running mechanics. Using principles of augmented biofeedback, we help the brain automate balance and spatial awareness, turning running into a powerful tool for emotional regulation and cognitive focus.
Transform (Independence): We scale the training into lifelong resilience, preparing our neurodiverse athletes to navigate their daily environments and future athletic pursuits with absolute confidence and independence.
2. The After-School Program
Active Classroom Readiness & Integration
Designed to fit seamlessly into a child’s weekly routine, our After-School Program provides a structured, high-energy environment where neurodiverse children can activate their bodies after a day in the classroom.
The Format: Weekly group running and physical conditioning sessions held in a supportive, highly inclusive environment.
How it Works: Led by our trained team, these sessions utilize goal-directed running routines to help children channel their physical energy, release stress, and build peer relationships.
The Classroom Connection: By consistently reinforcing core and spinal strength after hours, this program directly maintains the bodily endurance children need to sustain physical stability and behavioral regulation during the school week.
3. The Professional Internship & Leadership Track
Our Self-Sustaining “Circle of Life” Ecosystem
This program represents the driving engine behind Project Protea, ensuring our elite, science-backed training remains exceptionally high-quality, affordable, and deeply rooted in the community.
Multidisciplinary Interns: We host and train upcoming professionals from fields like sports science, behavioral psychology, education, and physical rehabilitation. They apply their academic knowledge to provide expert, individualized scaffolding for our athletes while gaining invaluable real-world clinical experience.
The Graduate Circle: As our senior athletes master the Protea Pathway, they transition into this track as peer coaches. Through kinesthetic mirroring, they step into active leadership roles to guide, mentor, and inspire the younger ones coming up behind them—completing our endless circle of shared empowerment.
